Lori Overholser, MA, LPC
Licensed mental health counselor.
Lori Overholser is a Licensed Professional Counselor dedicated to helping women reclaim their strength, confidence, and emotional wellbeing. She holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor of Science in Social Psychology, graduating magna cum laude. Her work is rooted in evidence-based practice, empathy, and a long-standing commitment to supporting women through hard and changing seasons.
With a specialized focus on women's empowerment, identity development, and relationship healing, Lori keeps a room that is both safe and energizing. A place where clients feel seen, supported, and able to change. She blends clinical insight with ordinary warmth, and works with anxiety, life transitions, self-worth, and the emotional load that often comes with being a woman now.
Outside of counseling, she lives the same kind of balance she asks of her clients. She is often outdoors: hiking, biking, kayaking, or out in the weather with her daughter and husband. She co-owns a salon with her husband. She volunteers at an equine-assisted therapy facility. Music and live concerts are another source of joy.
Clients describe Lori as compassionate, intuitive, and refreshingly real. A counselor who brings professional training and lived experience into the same hour. If you are looking for clarity, healing, or a sturdier sense of your own power, this can be a place to do that work.
